§ 50.02 SEWER TAPPERS; APPROVAL AND BOND.
   (A) No person shall engage in the business of making connections with sewers or drains, or lateral connections within the village, or making repairs thereto, unless he has been duly licensed as a plumber and is approved by the county sanitary engineer. He must also file with the Village Building Commissioner a bond in favor of the village in a sum of not less than $1,000, as prescribed by said Village Building Commissioner.
   (B) The conditions of the bond shall be that the applicant will indemnify and save the village harmless from all damage or loss which may be occasioned in any way by accident, or the want of care or skill on his part in the prosecution of the work of making sewer connections, or that may be occasioned by reason of any surface or subsurface opening made or caused to be made by him in connection with the work.
