EXHIBIT 3. REGULATIONS FOR SEWER AND WATER LINE WORK.
   (A)   All sewer installations (storm and sanitary) shall be made in strict accordance with standards and specifications of Hamilton County.
   (B)   All water line and fire hydrant installations shall be made in strict accordance with the standards and specifications of the City of Cincinnati.
   (C)   Where trench bottoms are rock, a minimum four-inch cushion of bank run gravel will be required for bedding the pipe and giving it uniform support.
   (D)   Where sewer trench bottoms are unstable, a stabilizing bed of one part cement to nine parts bank run gravel (dry mix) will be required.
   (E)   Backfill for all trenches (including sewer and water service branches) that will be under the paved portion of the street, must be bank run gravel, flushed to insure maximum compaction. Outside paved areas, suitable backfill material (free of rocky material around sides and top of pipe) from the trench excavation will be permitted. If the inspector determines that the excavated material is not suitable for backfill, bank run gravel will be required.
   (F)   Manholes of precast sectional concrete rings are acceptable. Base must be built of concrete brick or 1:6 poured concrete. Channels in bottom of sanitary manholes shall be lined with vitrified brick or channel pipe. Benches must be brick or smooth finished concrete. Channels in bottoms of storm sewer manholes may be formed and shaped from concrete, or lined with concrete brick or channel pipe.
   (G)   Stacks at drop manholes, or on service branches, must be adequately supported, braced, reinforced, or in cases with brick or concrete for their full height to insure no displacement or damage during backfilling operations.
   (H)   In accordance with Chapter 50, a nonrefundable fee amounting to 2% of the cost of all sanitary sewer work must be paid to the village for the sanitary sewer maintenance fund.
