There shall be two classes of building sewer permits: (1) for residential and commercial service; and (2) for service to establishments producing industrial wastes. In either case, the owner or his or her agent shall make application on a special form furnished by the city. The permit application shall be supplemented by any plans, specifications, or other information considered pertinent in the judgment of the superintendent. The fee for a sewer permit shall be $1.00 per $100.00 of estimated cost of work to be performed, with a $5.00 minimum fee and a $25.00 maximum fee. This includes one inspection. An inspection fee of $25.00 for each subsequent inspection required under this article shall be paid before a certificate of approval is issued. The fees herein shall be paid to the city clerk upon obtaining a sewer permit and the same shall be credited to the general operating fund of the city. (Ord. 450; Code 2015)
