14-510.   REGISTRATION WITH CITY.
No person shall operate a micro-utility truck or an all-terrain vehicle on any public highway, street, road or alley within the corporate limits of the city unless such person: a) has first completed a city registration application for such vehicle; b) has submitted such application, along with an application fee of $5, to the city clerk; c) has supplied the city clerk with proof of insurance coverage required in this article; d) has obtained approval of such application from the city clerk; e) has obtained from the city clerk a sticker evidencing registration with the city; and f) has affixed such registration sticker to the left side of such vehicle such that it is conspicuous and clearly visible. Each calendar year, any person who has previously registered a micro-utility truck or all-terrain vehicle, must obtain a current-year registration sticker and properly display such sticker to operate such micro-utility truck or an all-terrain vehicle on any public highway, street, road or alley within the corporate limits of the city. To obtain such current-year registration sticker, such person must provide proof of insurance coverage required under this article and pay a yearly registration fee of $5.
