12-313.   GRAVE SITE DIGGING AND SPECIFICATIONS.
All opening and closing of grave sites, including sites for urns, shall be done by the city, by employees of the city, under the supervision and direction of the cemetery superintendent. Reasonable charges for such service shall be established by the governing body of the city from time to time, based upon personnel time and equipment use. All grave and urn sites shall be opened and closed pursuant to specifications adopted by the city from time to time, and not more than two urns shall be placed in any one 4 ft. x 8 ft. grave site. Vault graves shall be dug 7 ft. in length, 3 ft. in width, and 4½ ft. in depth, unless otherwise specified by the cemetery superintendent. Urn graves shall be dug 1 ft. square at a depth of 1 ft., unless otherwise specified by the cemetery superintendent. A fee of $200 will be charged to open or close a grave site.
