909.03 FAILURE TO TRIM AFTER NOTICE; CERTIFICATION TO COUNTY AUDITOR.
   In the event the owner or his agent shall neglect or refuse to trim or keep trimmed the branches of such trees as provided in Section 909.02, the City may, after ten days’ written notice to the owner or occupant of such abutting property, cause such trees to be trimmed and charge the expense thereof to such owner. Upon being unpaid, such amount shall be certified by the proper City official to the County Auditor and the same shall act as a lien upon the property of such owner and be collected as provided in the case of special assessments. The notice herein provided may be served by registered letter, addressed to the owner or occupant of such premises, by mailing the same to the last known place of residence of such owner or occupant.
