178.10 INVESTIGATION; DETERMINATION.
   (a)   The Commission or its designee shall investigate allegations of discrimination or prejudice set forth in any filed complaint in the manner it deems most appropriate.
   (b)   If the Commission finds, with respect to any respondent, that the Commission lacks jurisdiction or that the complaint is not supported by a preponderance of the evidence, the Commission shall issue and cause to be served on the appropriate parties an order dismissing the allegations of the complaint.
   (c)   If the Commission determines that the complaint is supported by a preponderance of the evidence, the matter shall be forwarded to the Mayor with a recommendation for appropriate action. (Ord. 120-01. Passed 11-19-01.)
