(a) All City employees, officers and appointed officials shall be paid on a bi-weekly basis. Payment for each two week pay period shall be due and payable on the first Friday following the close of such pay period.
(b) The bi-weekly pay rate for all employees, officers and appointed officials whose salaries are established on an annual basis shall be determined by dividing the annual salary by twenty-six. The result shall be adjusted to the largest whole cent.

(c) The daily rate of all salaried employees, officers and appointed officials shall be determined by dividing their bi-weekly pay rate by the number of regularly scheduled work days in a bi-weekly period with exception of firemen on tour of duty whose bi-weekly rate is divided by twelve days to determine an eight-hour period.
