1515.03 ROPED SAFETY ZONES AT FIRES.
   Whenever, in the opinion of the Director of Public Safety and Service, the Police Chief or the Fire Chief, it shall become necessary to provide a safety zone at any fire for the protection of pedestrians or to avoid hampering or impeding the firemen in their work, the Director of Public Safety and Service shall require the Police Department to provide and establish rope lines at such points as shall be necessary.
   No person, other than City officials, members of the Police or Fire Departments or persons authorized by them, or representatives of the press, shall remain or pass within such roped off safety zone or push or crowd against such ropes and damage or break them. All persons within such safety zone shall immediately withdraw from the same upon the order of any police or special officer, fireman or the Director of Public Safety and Service.
