Whoever violates any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a minor misdemeanor on the first offense, a misdemeanor of the fourth degree on any second offense within one year from the date of conviction of the first offense, and a misdemeanor of the third degree for any subsequent offenses occurring within a period of one year from the date of previous conviction under this chapter.
