Before a permit may be issued to any person for the moving of any dwelling, structure or other building, the applicant shall furnish evidence of a policy of liability insurance in an amount of one hundred thousand/three hundred thousand dollars ($100,000/$300,000) bodily injury, one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) property damage, and an excess loads permit bond in the amount of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) in favor of the City to provide for oversize/overweight loads, both of which shall be acceptable to and approved by the Building Department and written by an insurance company authorized to do business and write such policies or bonds in the State of Ohio.
The applicant should also furnish to the Building Department, indicia of ownership of the property to which the dwelling, structure or other building is to be moved of an estate in fee simple or equivalent as evidenced by deed, abstract of title or policy of title insurance or an instrument or instruments of like import.
