The lessee shall watch over and protect the City's property at the lake and shall patrol the shoreline of the lake twice a week from April 1 to September 30 and once a week from September 30 to April 1, and he shall properly guard the waters of the reservoir from pollution. He shall protect the valves of the dam from driftwood and ice and shall cut the ice around the standpipe when it becomes six inches thick. Such lessee shall also provide a lifeguard during the summer season to guard the bathers on the bathing beach at all times when the lake is open to bathers.
