(a) Where there is a lawn strip between the curb and the paved portion of the sidewalk, any inclined portion of the driveway or approach shall be constructed in the lawn strip area only. The established grade of the paved portion of the sidewalks shall not be changed in any manner.
(b) Where the paved portion of the sidewalk immediately adjoins the curb and no lawn strip exists, the inclined portion of the driveway or approach shall be constructed to extend upon the sidewalk and curb not in excess of twenty percent of the combined width of the paved portion of such sidewalk and curb, but in no event shall the inclined portion of such driveway or approach exceed two feet. The established grade of the remaining part of the paved portion of the sidewalk shall not be changed in any manner.
(c) Such driveway approaches or inclines and the space intervening between the driveway approaches or inclines shall be of such width as, in the opinion of the City Engineer, would be suitable under the circumstances of each particular case. In no case shall it be lawful to construct any driveway leading into the street through and across a circular curb already established and put in place by the City.
(d) Each permit issued as provided in Section 905.05 shall stipulate the width of the driveway approaches or inclines, the number to be installed and, if there is more than one driveway approach or incline, the width of the space between the same.
