There is hereby adopted by the City, a standard set of drawings and specifications for the construction of streets, sanitary and storm sewers and water mains as established by the City Engineer and copies of which are on file in the office of the City Engineer and the office of the Clerk of Council for the use and examination by the public. Such standards are adopted for the purpose of regulating the construction of streets, sewers and water lines and necessary appurtenances thereto within the City and environs.
