901.06 SIGNAL LANTERNS.
   Every person making openings in any street or public ground of the City under the provisions of this chapter shall place, keep and maintain at his expense, at or near such opening or excavation, not less than two signal lanterns and as many more as shall be necessary. Such person shall keep the same lighted at all hours of the night so that the opening or excavation may be seen by any person passing along or near such opening or excavation. The signal lanterns shall be kept lighted every night from dusk until daylight, so long as such opening or excavation remains open.
