A taxicab driver, taxicab operator, personnel transportation operator or personnel transportation driver may charge a fare for waiting time. Waiting time means any period the taxicab or personnel transportation vehicle is not in motion at the specific request of the passenger, but shall not include any period of waiting time prior to the passenger’s original entrance into the motor vehicle. Rates and fares for waiting time must also be filed by licensee and maintained in the Mayor’s office.
