The permittee shall supply to the Police Chief and Fire Chief the name, address and telephone number of the persons responsible for the operation and maintenance of each well for which a permit is issued so that some responsible person may be reached at any time in case of an emergency.
The permittee shall also place on both the well and the tank battery a sign indicating the following:
(a) Name of the well;
(b) State of Ohio permit number;
(c) Name, address and phone number of the well operator;
(d) Name and phone number of the person to call in the event of an emergency;
(e) Alternate name in case those parties cannot be reached.
To enable the information to be read from a distance in case of emergency, the lettering on the tank battery shall be bright yellow, painted, stenciled, or decal, 4 inch height x 3/4 inch thickness x 3 inch wide.
The requirements of this section shall apply to all existing wells in the City of Alliance. (Ord. 128-92. Passed 12-21-92.)
