The Director of Public Safety and Service shall examine all applications for dance hall licenses and shall investigate each application to determine whether or not the dance hall sought to be licensed complies with the applicable rules, regulations, ordinances and laws of the Board of Health and the Fire Chief. The Director of Public Safety and Service shall furnish the Mayor a reinspection of the premises previous to granting the renewal license.
