(a) No person shall shoot by the use of a bow or similar contrivance, any arrow equipped with a broad metal head, commonly known as a hunting arrow, within the limits of the City. No person under the age of eighteen years shall purchase any arrow equipped with a broad metal head, commonly known as a hunting arrow. No person under the age of eighteen years shall shoot any arrow by the use of a bow or a similar contrivance, within the limits of the City, unless accompanied by an adult or while in attendance at a supervised archery class or match.
(b) Any police officer of the City is hereby authorized to confiscate any bow and arrow used in violation of this section. (Ord. 108-63. Passed 11-4-63.)
(c) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
