(A) The City Council hereby declares that the public health, safety and welfare demand that the house numbers on those properties fronting on that portion of Huntington Drive lying within the city from Bushnell Avenue to the city limit of South Pasadena correspond with the house numbering system adopted by the city of South Pasadena.
(B) Therefore, those properties fronting on the hereinabove described portion of Huntington Drive shall be exempted from the house numbering provisions of this Chapter 13.40, and the house numbers for those the properties shall coincide sequentially with the house numbers assigned by the city of South Pasadena to its properties on the east and west sides thereof.
