The operator of a vehicle shall not stop, stand or park the vehicle in a roadway other than parallel with the curb and with the two right-hand wheels of the vehicle within 18 inches of the regularly established curbline; except, that upon those streets which have been marked for angle parking, as provided in the following section, vehicles shall be parked at the angle to the curb indicated by such marks.
