§ 23.20.050 DENSITY.
   The proposed density of a residential planned development shall be consistent with the High-density Residential designation of the General Plan and the density of dwelling units on any lot in the R-3 zone shall be as follows:

*In the event of lot consolidations or subdivisions, the allowable unit density may be increased if the changes result in additional frontage on any other street and if there is no vehicular access to Curtis or Electric Lanes.
   (B)   For developments which include lots which are both within and outside a 50 foot distance of Low or Medium Density properties, the overall-density shall be computed as a blended density based upon the applicable densities of the individual lots.
   (C)   In the case of multiple dwellings on a property, the number of units shall be determined by counting: The number of kitchens, or the number of bedrooms divided by two.
   (D)   The larger number shall be used to evaluate compliance with density limitations. Single-family residences shall be exempt from this provision.
