§ 72.35 GENERAL PARKING VIOLATIONS.
   (A)   Not to obstruct traffic. No person shall park any vehicle upon a street, other than an alley, so that less than ten feet of the width of the roadway is available for the free movement of traffic.

   (B)   Restrictions in alleys. No operator of any vehicle shall stop, stand, or park that vehicle in any alley for a period of time longer than is necessary for the loading or unloading of passengers or freight. No person shall stop, stand, or park in any alley so that less than eight feet of the width of the alley is available for the free movement of traffic. If less than eight feet of the width of the alley is available, the operator of the vehicle shall move it immediately if another vehicle approaches.

   (C)   Parking for certain purposes prohibited. No person shall park a vehicle upon any roadway to display it for sale or to grease or repair the vehicle except if repairs are required by an emergency.

   (D)   Obedience to signs and markings. No person shall park or stand a vehicle in any location which has been signed or marked for parking except within the markings and at the orientation indicated by the signs or markings.

   (E)   Standing or parking vehicle on roadways. No person shall stand or park a vehicle on a street other than on the roadway or paved shoulder.

   (F)   Standing or parking in alleys. No person shall stand or park a vehicle on a street so that it restricts full access to any alley.

   (G)   Parking restricted in business district. No person shall park a vehicle for more than two consecutive hours in a business district.

   (H)   Parking in loading zones. No person shall stop, stand, or park a vehicle for any purpose or period of time, other than for the expeditious loading or unloading of passengers or materials, in any place marked as a loading zone during the hours and days when the regulations applicable to such curb loading zone are effective and then only for a period not to exceed three minutes for passengers or 20 minutes for materials.
