§ 72.04 AUTHORITY TO CLOSE MUNICIPAL PARKING LOTS.
   (A)   The Mayor, by executive order, shall have the authority to direct the Chief of Police of the city to close one or more of the public parking lots owned and/or maintained by the city for such period of time as is directed in the order of the Mayor.
   (B)   Once receiving such order, the Chief of Police shall proceed to close the designated parking lot or lots listed in the order by the Mayor for such period of time as set out in the order by locking the parking lot entrances and posting no-parking signs which set forth the time that no parking is allowed.
   (C)   After the no-parking signs are posted, any person parking in the parking lot shall be guilty of a Class C infraction and shall be subject to the penalty provisions of § 10.99.
