(A) Residential district. No person owning or operating a truck, trailer, bus, recreational vehicle, tractor, or tractor and trailer which is wider, longer, or taller than a conventional station wagon or pick-up truck shall park that vehicle on or upon any street or alley within any residential district. This division (A) shall not prevent any vehicle from parking for a sufficient time to make deliveries or pick up merchandise if the parking does not interrupt the regular traffic flow and does not create a safety hazard.
(B) Business district. No person shall park any vehicle listed in division (A) above upon any street or alley longer than one hour within any business district. This division (B) shall not prevent any vehicle from parking for a sufficient time to make deliveries or pick up merchandise in the regular course of business if the parking does not interrupt regular traffic flow and does not create a safety hazard.
(C) Exception. Any vehicle listed in division (A) above may park on or upon any street or alley in a business or residential district if the owner of the vehicle has first obtained written permission from the Police Department. The permit shall state the location where the vehicle may be parked and the duration for which the parking shall be allowed.
