(A) The City Police Department is hereby directed to issue city citations for parking violations, with the fine payable to the city in the amount of not less than twenty dollars ($20.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) for each offense, as required by KRS 189.990(1) for each such violation. Revenue from these parking violations may be retained by the city pursuant to KRS 65.120.
(B) In the event that violators who have been cited by city citation for these parking violations as stated above fail to pay the fine as stated in division (A) above, then pursuant to policies adopted by the city, the violator shall be cited to the County District Court for said violation, and upon conviction of any parking violation, said violator shall be punished by a fine of not less than twenty dollars ($20.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) for each offense, as required by KRS 189.990(1).
(C) Any person who leaves a vehicle upon a county road or city street under circumstances indicating an abandonment as set forth in § 72.06 of this code shall be fined fifty dollars ($50.00), or imprisoned for fifteen (15) days.
