Each of the following respective words when used in this chapter shall be defined as follows:
CITY: Within the corporate limits of the city of Aledo, Illinois.
EXCAVATION: Any digging or blasting work. It also includes any other type of activity that causes or could cause interference or damage to any underground public utility system in the city.
NONEMERGENCY: All construction or maintenance work that is performed in the city in the absence of imminent peril to the public health and safety of the city's citizens if not immediately undertaken.
PERSON: Any individual, partnership, corporation, or any other type of association. (Ord. 8/86, 11-17-1986)
