8-9-2: INTERFERENCE DURING CONSTRUCTION:
It shall be unlawful for any person to drive, ride or walk, or in any other way go upon or trespass upon, any part of any newly laid pavement, curbs, gutters, sidewalks or other street improvements, in the city either while the same are in course of construction or after completion, until the same have been regularly opened for traffic by the municipal authorities of the city; nor to in any manner mark or deface any part of any such improvement at any time. This section shall not be construed to prohibit any authorized person from doing any necessary act or thing in connection with the making of any such improvement, nor to go upon the same with due care, without injuring the same, while such person may be in the discharge of any duty in connection with the making or protection of any such improvement.
