The control of the cemetery shall be vested in the Corporate Authorities of the City, which shall be governed by the provisions of this Code. It shall be the duty of the Corporate Authorities to fix the price of lots in said cemetery, and to cause to be platted into lots of regular size and shape all of the land to be designated for such purposes by action of the City Council. The Cemetery Committee of the City Council may be assigned by the Corporate Authorities to make such inquiry, review and recommendations as deemed necessary to the best operation of the Aledo Cemetery.
