5-1-1: LIMITS ESTABLISHED:
Hereafter all that portion of the city within and bounded as follows: Commencing at the southwest corner of Block Eighty-six (86) in the Original Town, now City of Aledo, running thence north to the south line of Lot Three (3) in said Block Eighty-six (86), thence East along the south line of said Lot Three in Block Eighty Six, Sixty Feet, thence north to the north line of said Lot Three, thence West to the Northwest corner of said Lot Three, thence North to the southwest corner of Block Seventy-five, thence west along the north line of Sixth (6th) Street to the southwest corner of Block Seventy-six (76), thence north along the east line of Locust Street to the northwest corner of Lot Six (6) in Block Sixty-five (65), thence east to the southwest corner of Lot Three (3) in Block Sixty-six (66), thence north along the east side of Walnut Street to the northwest corner of Block Sixty-six (66), thence along the south side of Eighth (8th) Street to the northwest corner of Lot One (1) of Block Sixty-seven (67), thence south to the southwest corner of Lot One (1) in Block Sixty-seven (67), thence east to the southeast corner of Lot One (1) in Block Sixty-eight (68), thence south along the west line of Spruce Street to the southeast corner of Fractional Block Three (3) in the Original Town of Aledo, thence west along the north line of Fifth (5th) Street to the place of beginning, is hereby established and declared to be the Fire Limits of the City, and to embrace and include the south half of Block Sixty-five (65), all of Block Sixty-six (66), seven-eights of Block Sixty-seven, Seventy-five (75), Seventy-six (76), Eighty-six (86), Fractional Blocks Three (3) and Four (4), and the south three-fourths (3/4) of Block Sixty-eight (68), in the original plat of the City of Aledo, and Blocks Three (3) and Four (4) in Thompson's Railroad Addition to the City.
