3-4-2-4: REGISTRATION FEE:
   (A)   Hawker And Peddler:
      1.   Fee: Each hawker and peddler shall pay to the City Clerk a daily registration fee pursuant to title 13, "Schedule Of Fees", of this Code. The charge for the daily fee may be extended for a set period of days and paid at the time of registration but in no event may a certificate of registration be issued for a period of greater than thirty (30) days without renewal.
      2.   Exemption: A hawker and peddler who represents an agency or business which maintains a physical location (e.g., office, store or service center) within the corporate limits of the City for a term of at least twelve (12) months, shall be exempt from the additional fee for each day's sales.
   (B)   Itinerant Vendors And Transient Merchants: Each itinerant vendor and transient merchant shall pay the City Clerk an annual registration fee pursuant to title 13, "Schedule Of Fees", of this Code.
   (C)   Food Service Cart: An annual license, issued on a calendar year basis, for prepared food service carts may be issued upon submission of an application as provided by the City, compliance with all food service inspections that may be required by Mercer County or the City of Aledo and payment of an application fee pursuant to title 13, "Schedule Of Fees", of this Code. Such license shall be on a per cart basis and no more than three (3) licenses shall be available or issued at any given time. (Ord. 12/2017, 6-5-2017)
