(A) Skateboards, inline skates, non-motorized self propelled scooters, roller skates, or other similar wheeled devices on sidewalks. Skateboards, inline skates, non-motorized self propelled scooters, roller skates, or other similar wheeled devices shall not be ridden or otherwise used as intended by any person upon a public sidewalk within the town, except they may be used on sidewalks in areas zoned for residential use.
(B) Parental responsibility. Every parent or guardian shall be responsible for payment of the penalty resulting from a violation of this section by his or her child or ward under the age of 18 years.
