§ 71.03 WEIGHT LIMITATIONS.
   (A)   (1)   It shall be unlawful to operate any vehicle on any street when its gross weight exceeds 14,000 pounds and the street by reason of deterioration, rain, snow, or climatic conditions may be seriously damaged or destroyed if the gross weight of the vehicle is in excess of 7,000 pounds.
      (2)   However, the weight limitation shall not be imposed upon the same section of a street for a total period in excess of 90 days in any one calendar year.
   (B)   The owner and the operator of any vehicle operated or moved on any street in violation of this section shall be jointly and severally responsible for all damages to the street. (Ord. 309-73, passed 2-6-73)
