The issuance of permits and the collection of fees shall be as authorized in Minnesota Statutes section 326B.153, subdivision 1. (Ord. 2018-01, 1-2-2018)
A. Permit Fees: Permit fees shall be assessed for work governed by this Code in accordance with the fee schedule as established in section 3-1-3 of this Code. In addition, a surcharge fee shall be collected on all permits issued for work governed by this Code in accordance with Minnesota Statutes section 326B.148. Where permit fees are based on valuation, the minimum valuation shall be calculated using the most current Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry building valuation data.
B. Plan Review Fee: Plan review fee as established in section 3-1-3 of this Code.
C. Residential Building Permits: Residential single- and two- family dwelling building permits shall be charged a lot survey and as built survey review fee, as established in section 3-1-3 of this Code, under building and development regulations.
D. Nonresidential And Multi-Family Building Permits: Commercial, industrial, multiple-family, and institutional building permits shall be charged a site and building plan review fee, as established in section 3-1-3 of this Code, under appendix A zoning ordinance.
E. Other Building Permits And Related Inspections: Other building permit or Fire Code related inspections as established in section 3-1-3 of this Code. (Ord. 2017-01, 1-3-2017)
