§ 52.43 ACCESS TO PROPERTY FOR METER READING.
   (A)   Any customer receiving water service by the municipal water utility, or landowner of any real property served by the municipal water utility, shall permit such ingress and egress onto said property as is reasonably necessary to permit the water utility's employee(s) or agent(s) to enter the premises for the purpose of obtaining an accurate reading of water usage from the meter or other device used to measure usage. Further, said customer or landowner shall maintain said property free of hazards, both obvious and latent, which pose an unreasonable risk to the employee or agent.
   (B)   Whoever violates any provision of this section shall be punished as set forth in § 10.99.
