(A) Violation of this chapter is a petty misdemeanor.
(B) The procedure will be as follows:
(1) First offense: oral warning to minor and parent/guardian;
(2) Second offense: written warning to minor and parent/guardian along with an information sheet containing information regarding the safety of the minor;
(3) Third offense: citation, in an amount as set forth in § 10.98, issued to parent/guardian along with an information sheet containing information regarding the safety of the minor;
(4) Fourth offense: citation, in an amount as set forth in § 10.98, issued to the parent/guardian along with an information sheet containing information regarding the safety of the minor;
(5) Fifth offense: citation, in an amount as set forth in § 10.98, issued to parent/guardian along with an information sheet containing information regarding the safety of the minor; and
(6) Sixth offense, and any subsequent offense: citation, in an amount as set forth in § 10.98, issued to parent/guardian along with an information sheet containing information regarding the safety of the minor.
(C) A person who violates a provision of this chapter is guilty of a separate offense for each day or part of a day during which the violation is committed, continued or permitted.
