§ 150.01 PERMIT REQUIRED; APPLICATION PROCEDURE; FEE.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person to do the following in the town without first having obtained a permit:
      (1)   Cut into or tap into any public tile drain;
      (2)   Cut or disturb the pavement of any public sidewalk; or
      (3)   Cut or disturb the surface or adjacent curb or any public street, alley or other vehicular thoroughfare.
   (B)   Such permit may be obtained by presenting a written request to the Clerk-Treasurer, by which the applicant shall state the place where, the time when and the purpose for which he or she desires to make such cut or tap. The Clerk-Treasurer shall present the permit request to the Street Commissioner for review and approval and, if the Street Commissioner approves the application, the Clerk-Treasurer shall then issue to the applicant a permit upon payment to the town of a permit fee in the amount as shall be set by the Town Council from time to time.
