A. Any permit issued hereunder shall be for a period not exceeding five (5) consecutive calendar days from the date of issuance. A permittee granted a permit hereunder shall not conduct a yard sale or garage sale for a period of time in excess of three consecutive calendar days. All advertising carried on in conjunction with the sale shall be removed after completion of the sale. [Ord. No. 57, adopted 8/25/72.]
B. The maximum number of yard sales or garage sales permitted under this Section for any multi-family residence is one per calendar year per occupied unit. The tenant of a multi-family residence shall receive written permission from the owner of the property prior to obtaining the yard sale or garage sale permit and shall submit this written authorization at the time application is made for the permit. Only the occupant of the multi-family residential unit shall be permitted to apply for and obtain a yard sale or garage sale permit.
