§ 92.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Every person violates a section, division, paragraph, or provision of this chapter when he or she performs an act thereby prohibited or declared unlawful, or fails to act when the failure is thereby prohibited or declared unlawful, or performs an act prohibited or declared unlawful, or fails to act when the failure is prohibited or declared unlawful by a code adopted by reference by this chapter, and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished as for a misdemeanor except as otherwise stated in specific provisions hereof.
   (B)   Any person, firm, or corporation violating any of the provisions of § 92.20 shall be subject to an administrative penalty, and, in addition, such violation shall constitute a petty misdemeanor. A second offense occurring within 12 months after a conviction of a violation of § 92.20 shall constitute a misdemeanor as referenced in division (A) of this section.
   (C)   Any person who involuntarily has animals removed from their residence by warrant is subject to have those or any other animals removed from that premise for up to one year following the initial removal.
