1986 Village Council Meeting Minutes

January 6, 1986

Meeting called to order by Mayor Kenneth Fertig.

Pledge of Allegiance

Frank Bishop and Rick Nemet were sworn in as Council members.

Roll: Council members present: Rick Nemet, Frank Bishop, William Herndon, William McCune, Albert Hruska. Council member absent: Jacqueline Roach

Also present: Robert Reitz, Roland Ferguson, Jeffrey Pizel, Gary Cole, Solicitor Bernadette Larson, Administrator Bernard Westfall, Martin Conoboy-Gazette, David Bottorf and Steve Kovach of the Beacon.

Minutes approved as submitted.

Council election for president pro tem:

Herndon nominated Bishop; Hruska nominated McCune. Nemet moved nominations be closed, second by Hruska. McCune elected by ballot.

Motion made by McCune to approve the appointment of Bernadette Larson as Village Solicitor an Parliamentarian, second by Nemet, roll - McCune, yea; Hruska, yea; Bishop, yea; Hruska, yea; Nemet, yea.
