(A) Reclassified territory.
(1) The Town Council hereby reclassifies certain areas from the Rural Service District to the Town Service District, consisting of the following areas or subdivisions: Irishman’s Run, Fox Hollow, The Willows, Willow Glen, Willow Ridge, Hidden Pines, Bridlewood and Northwest Technology Park.
(2) The service districts map is hereby amended to reflect the reclassified areas being moved into the Town Service District and the same is approved and adopted as the town’s official service districts map as attached hereto as Exhibit B. The reclassified territory is described on Exhibit A attached hereto and the revised schematically illustrated on Exhibit B, consisting of approximately 976.72 acres.
(C) Public hearing. Notice of the public hearing on the reclassification was published on May 30, 2012 and June 6, 2012 in The Zionsville Times-Sentinel and the public hearing on the reclassification of certain areas in the town was held on July 2, 2012 before the Town Council.
(D) Subsequent actions. The Town Clerk/Treasurer is authorized, empowered and directed to take any and all action necessary or required by state law to effectuate the purposes of this section and the reclassification of the territory from the Rural Service District to the Town Service District.
