In accordance with the provisions of § 71.04 of this traffic code, and when proper signs are erected, vehicles shall be brought to a full stop at every intersection before entering any of the following through streets or designated sections of streets. Any street or highway which is now or which hereafter may be established as the route, or part of the route, for a state highway, unless specifically designated to the contrary herein or by amendment hereto.
