§ 52.002 SEPTIC SYSTEMS AND GEOTHERMAL OPEN-LOOP SYSTEMS PROHIBITED.
   (A)   The purpose of this chapter is to preserve, protect and enhance the quality of the environment so that, to the extent possible, future generations will be ensured of clean water and a healthful environment. To accomplish this objective, it has been found necessary to encourage the use of the town sewer system, which is now available to all developed properties within the municipal boundaries of the town, and discourage the use of wasteful heating and cooling systems, by prohibiting the construction of new septic systems and new geothermal open-loop systems.
   (B)   The construction of new septic systems within the municipal boundaries is prohibited.
   (C)   The construction of new geothermal open-loop heating and/or cooling systems within the municipal boundaries is prohibited.
