If the person so served does not abate the nuisance within ten days, the city may proceed to abate such nuisance, keeping an account of the expense of the abatement, and such expense shall be charged and paid by such owner or occupant. The city may perform the work or hire the same to be done. If someone is hired by the city, the city may assess an additional $25 to the actual cost for administrative expenses.
