(A) Containers shall be of design conforming to town specifications and may range in capacity from the mobile containers provided by the town to an eight-cubic yard metal front loading container.
(B) Prior to the placement of metal front loading containers a zoning permit must be obtained.
(C) Front loading metal container must be placed on a concrete pad and screened on three sides. Containers must be located in a position easily accessible by sanitation collection equipment.
(D) The sanitation collector shall not be responsible for removing refuse from containers that are not accessible to the collection equipment or fail to meet the design specifications of the town.
(E) The Land Use Administrator has final authority over placement, size and appearance of all front loading metal containers.

(A) The owners or operators of multi-family dwelling complexes with more than four units located within the town limits shall purchase, lease or otherwise make available a refuse container which shall conform to the specifications of the town.
(B) The owners and operators shall be responsible for the operational and sanitary maintenance of the containers.

(A) Mobile containers provided by the town shall be picked up as contracted with the collection service, and front-end type containers shall be collected on a regular basis so as there is no accumulation of refuse that would cause a public nuisance.
(B) All users of front loading metal containers shall be responsible for contracting their solid waste collection with a private solid waste contractor and shall be responsible for paying contractors directly.
(C) Each complex utilizing mobile container service through the town shall be billed by the town in the same manner set forth in this code.

INDUSTRIAL, COMMERCIAL AND BUSINESS BUILDINGS’ REFUSE COLLECTION
(A) Commercial, industrial and business buildings shall provide containers for collection of garbage, trash, and refuse as follows: each facility shall provide adequate containers of a size necessary to contain the volume of refuse based on a weekly pickup.
(B) Small business and institutions generating less than 640 gallons of trash weekly may utilize a maximum of four mobile containers provided by the town or by option choose to combine their refuse with adjoining business and share in the use of a front loading metal container of style and make conforming to town specifications.
