749.99 PENALTY.
   (a)    Whoever violates Sections 749.04, 749.11 and 749.12 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree and shall be fined not more than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) or imprisoned more than ninety (90) days, or both.
   (b)    Whoever violates or fails to comply with any other provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a minor misdemeanor for a first offense and shall be fined not more than one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00); upon subsequent conviction, such person shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree and shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisoned more than sixty (60) days, or both.
   (c)    A violation of any section of Chapter 749 shall be grounds for the suspension or revocation of the taxicab driver's license, or in the case of a new application, shall be grounds to refuse to issue such license for a determinate period of time up to ninety (90) days, or permanently.
