The code adopted herein is hereby modified by the following amendments.
A. Section R101.1 of the adopted code is hereby amended to read as follows:
R101.1 Title. These provisions shall be known as the Residential Code for One- and Two-Family Dwellings of City of Yuma, and shall be cited as such and will be referred to herein as "this code."
B. Section R105.2(1) of the adopted code is hereby amended as follows:
1. One-story detached accessory structures, provided that the floor area does not exceed 120 square feet (11.15 m2).
C. Section R105.2(10) of the adopted code is hereby deleted in its entirety.
D. Section 109.1.5 of the adopted code is hereby amended by the addition of a new subsection 109.1.5.2 to read as follows:
109.1.5.2 Mid-roofing inspections. Mid-roof inspections shall be made to determine compliance with Chapter 9 of this code. These inspections are required after the base felt, flashing and the batten system have been installed, as applicable. Inspections may be made by photographic evidence supplied to the building official electronically or may be made in person by the building official, at the discretion of the permittee. If the inspection is performed remotely and electronically, the photographic evidence must be sufficient for the building official to adequately evaluate the work. Permittees undertaking such roofing work may continue with work after supplying the photographic evidence of the work but prior to the building official's approval; however; if the evidence is not adequate or if the building official determines that correction work may need to be made, the permittee may be required to stop work and/or remove roofing materials as directed by the building official, in order to comply with this requirement.
E. Section R112.1 of the adopted code is hereby amended to read as follows:
R112.1 General. In order to hear and decide appeals of orders, decisions or determinations made by the building official relative to the application and interpretation of this code, there shall be and is hereby created a board of appeals. The City Council of the City of Yuma shall serve as the board of appeals.
F. Section R.112.3 of the adopted code is hereby deleted in its entirety.
G. Table R301.2(1) of the adopted code is amended to read as follows:
