§ 39-25 Judge Pro Tempore.
   (A)   City of Yuma Judges Pro Tempore shall be appointed by the City Council and hold office for a term of three years, unless sooner removed by the Presiding Municipal Judge.
   (B)   Any Municipal Court Judge Pro Tempore appointed prior to October 1, 2016, who has not served as a Municipal Court Judge Pro Tempore for three years, will continue in their current appointment for a term of three years from the effective date of their appointment.
   (C)   Any Municipal Court Judge Pro Tempore appointed prior to October 1, 2016, who has served a term longer than three years, will have their current appointment expire December 31, 2016.
   (D)   Nothing in this section shall be interpreted to prevent the reappointment of any Municipal Court Judge Pro Tempore if the City Council choose to do so.
   (E)   The City Council may reappoint a person who was previously appointed as a Municipal Court Judge Pro Tempore.
   (F)   A majority vote of all the members constituting the City Council shall be required for all appointments to Municipal Court Judge Pro Tempore.
