§ 193-20 Temporary Interruption of Service.
The city reserves the right to cut off any utility service without notice in case of emergencies. When an interruption in service is necessary for the maintenance and improvement of the utility system, affected customers will be notified as circumstances permit. The city is not liable for any damages that might occur on account of water being cut off for any purpose or on account of the breaking of any pipe or fixture. Domestic customers who have any machinery or a material processing plant which requires a constant supply of domestic water shall install upon their premises such water storage facilities as will prevent any damage in case the city potable water supply is, for any reason, interrupted or discontinued.
