City-owned containers shall be distributed and positioned as scheduled by the Director of Public Works. Containers serving more than one residence shall be positioned along rear or side alleys not more than 100 feet from the property line of any residence served. Containers so positioned shall not be moved to any other location or repositioned in any manner unless approved by the Director of Public Works. If there are no alleys, individual, portable containers may be supplied by the city.
